Årskrönika 2023

2023 Summary

A year is coming to an end.

I’ve been doing a bit of reflection, and gathering some data to sort out the year. A few of the numbers were quite fun, so I thought I’d share a few. This is by no means meant to give you a full overview of what my year has been like. There is so much more going on behind the scenes, both the good, the bad and the ugly.

But for now, let me just thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

To each and everyone who ever bought a piece from me.
To all of you who are following me on different channels.
And to all of my clay friends near and far (this community is really a wonderful one)!

Without you, I wouldn’t be able to continue to spend all those hours by the wheel. Thank you!

The image is my top 9 most liked photos from the year, and they actually sums things up pretty well.

  1. A set made in my training at @formakademin, and representing all other courses I took.
  2. There has been a lot of glaze testing.
  3. My first ever teapot!
  4. Mugs, of course. Lots of mugs.
  5. Wonderful project for @victoriasalongen, and I got to use gold for the first time!
  6. This is from @smygehukfyr, representing all the fun restaurantprojects during the year!
  7. Private commission, one of 3 this year to order a full set. Loved it!
  8. My newly renovated summer studio!
  9. The second commission of dinner set.

And now, some random but interesting numbers from 2023:

1400 (ca) pieces made, from small santas and miniplates to big vases and serving bowls.

574 of them were mugs.

1 mug club

2 exhibitions

5 restaurants and cafes

12 retailers

3 dinner set customers

1 studio renovated

29 glaze kilns

Some year, huh!?
Now, let's make 2024 even more amazing!

Happy New Year!
