The store Cobosabi can be found just outside Lund in south Sweden, a store that combines Nordic and Japanese in a beautiful way.
Christina, who runs the store, and I have produced a bathroom set inspired by the meeting between our cultures. We are both inspired by the Japanese Wabi sabi. A way of living and seeing the beauty in what is not always perfect.
The toothbrush mug and soap dish are available in two colors, in a lighter brown and in a black clay. The glaze has been allowed to run a little over the edge, to remind you to stay in the moment for a short while each day, take a breath and observe your surroundings.
