Årskrönika 2024

Annual Report 2024

2024 has come to an end. And what a year it has been.

A year of learning. Of pushing boundaries. Of challenging myself.

My 9 most popular photos on Instagram sum it up pretty well, but I want to add a few more highlights.

The biggest thing that happened was - of course - that I took the Gesällbrev exam and everything around it. Practicing for the exam, being interviewed and photographed for the magazine Hemslöjd, taking the exam in Lidköping and then getting to go to the City Hall and Blå Hallen in Stockholm to pick up my diploma during a gala evening!

I have also learned a lot. I have taken courses at the Formakademin to improve my throwing skills, taken a glazing course, been on a plate making course in Stockholm with Stefan Andersson, and went to Leksand to build sculptures under the guidance of Mårten Medbo.

During the year, I have also, to my great joy, continued to deliver ceramics to restaurants such as Hörte Brygga, Smygehuk fyr / Red sails restaurant, JH Matbar, Victoriasalongen and Gjuterigatan ! Thank you - it is truly wonderful to work with you all!

When it comes to collaborations, I have continued to develop the collection for Gräddö Popup Shop, I have made a Japanese-inspired collection together with Cobosabi, a vase collection with the peony grower Pionjären, lamps for Affären in Gamla stan and finally I learned how to screen print on mugs in the collection I made together with Jollygoodfellow .

And as if that wasn't enough... I made my breakfast collection, I created art objects for group exhibitions at both Formargruppen and Artibus Malmö, and I developed more plate collections that I hope will find their way to new restaurants next year. And as always, many many mugs , bowls and plates for my dear customers in my webshop and at Formargruppen!

So yeah. When you list it like this, it looks like a crazy year. And it has been an amazing year. As always, life has its ups and downs, but I try to focus on the positive (but remember that what you see on Instagram is never the full picture of someone's life...). I still love playing with clay, learning new things, and also getting to do it together with so many awesome people. Of course, there are many more than those I have mentioned here, both clay friends and business colleagues near and far, and I am so happy that I have gotten to know you all!

And you know what? I have a feeling that next year will be just as exciting!

Thank you for this year! And welcome to join us next year!
