Handmade Restaurant Ceramics – Bespoke Tableware for Restaurants & Hospitality

Good food deserves honest tableware. From my studio in Malmö, Sweden, I make handthrown restaurant ceramics in stoneware – plates, mugs and bowls that are beautiful to look at, comfortable to use, and built to last in a working kitchen. Together we can give your guests something to notice before the food even arrives: a sense of care in every detail.

Every piece is thrown by hand on the wheel. No two are exactly alike, and that's the point. The slight variation in the glaze, the trace of the hand in the clay – that's what gives a table its character.

Let's talk!

Handmade in Sweden

Made by hand in my studio in Malmö.

Designed with food in focus

The plates should highlight the food served on it, and enhance the guest experience.

Beautiful and durable

Made for everyday use and to stand the life in a restaurant kitchen.

Why restaurants choose handmade ceramics

Mass-produced tableware is made to be invisible. Handmade restaurant ceramics are made to do the opposite – to frame the dish, set the tone for the meal, and give the guest something to notice the moment they sit down.

Everything I make is produced by hand in my studio in Malmö. The clay is shaped on the wheel, the glaze applied by hand, and every piece fired in my kiln. It's a slow process – and that shows in the result.

Two ways to work together

Ready-made collections

Order plates, mugs or bowls from my existing collections – all in neutral glazes and clean forms designed to let the food take centre stage. Ideal if you know what you're looking for and don't need customisation. No minimum order quantity, delivery within 4–8 weeks.

Bespoke restaurant ceramics

Looking for tableware developed specifically for your restaurant? We start with a conversation about your vision, your dishes, and your space. From there I develop clay and glaze samples, and we refine until it feels right. Minimum 12 pieces per form, typical lead time 2–3 months. Custom branding and logo marks are possible.

Frequently asked questions

I have a specific dish I need a new plate for. Can you help?

Absolutely — I love collaborating with other creatives to find a design that shows off the dish at its best. For custom-designed pieces, a development fee applies, and the final price depends on production method. Let's talk about what you need and find the best solution together.

Can I have my own branding on the pieces?

Yes. We can work with stamps pressed into the clay, as well as various types of transfers and decals. Let's discuss what works best for you.

Can I choose the glaze or colour myself?

Yes. You can choose freely from the clays and glazes I use in my own collections. I can also develop a glaze specifically for your needs — for example, a colour that matches your restaurant's identity or brand. A development fee applies in that case.

How long does delivery take?

For orders from existing collections, delivery is typically 4–8 weeks depending on volume. For bespoke commissions, it depends on the scope, but usually 2–3 months.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

For pieces from my existing collections, there is no minimum. For bespoke commissions, a minimum of 12 pieces per form applies.

How do I care for the ceramics?

All pieces are made in stoneware and built for daily use in a restaurant environment. They are dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

How does delivery work?

All orders are shipped with tracking, from Malmö to anywhere in the world.

If you're local, you're also welcome to collect from my studio in Malmö.
