The Japandi series is adding a Scandinavian touch to the japanese hakeme-technique, where you use a contrasting slip clay to paint with loose brush strokes. The subtle clay colours connect the vases to nature, and creates the perfect backdrop for any flowers. 

By using the same matching clays, the vases are perfect for mix-and-match, even though they are all uniques and only available in this specific piece. Gathering a collection of matching vases in different sizes makes a stunning centerpiece, and by working with smaller vases a single flower or grass is just as beautiful as a larger bouquet. 

The vases are unglazed on the outside, and glazed in a darker glaze in the inside to make sure they hold water.
