I've been making pieces for Victoriasalongen for a while now. That place is so special, and it feels like you're time traveling when you enter the 1st class salons from the ship S/S Drottning Victoria, built in the early 1900's.
All pieces I designed and produced has been inspired by details in the salons, and this time we took inspiration from the steamships chimneys. The jugs, for sauces during dinner sevice, are quite simple cylinders but the tilting and the glazing transforms them to chimneys.
I love this kind of work, where I design something for a special place or setting, and in collaboration with the chef thats going to use the final pieces. Thank you chef Jimmy Brorsson, for a lovely collaboration!
